With an informative panel of discussion with designers and a partnering delivery company.
The Hunhu Colectiv will be a first of its kind in Zimbabwe, using a “crowdsourcing” model whereby different designers are marketed under one collective brand name. The initiative is part of the work that the Hunhu Fashion Council is doing to promote sustainability in fashion. The brand is rooted in heritage, redefining the industry by merging cultural storytelling, ethical craftsmanship, and sustainable practices to create a transformative shopping experience.

Launching on April 30, the brand partners with local artisans to preserve traditional techniques while ensuring fair wages, uses eco-friendly materials for transparent production, and designs pieces that celebrate African heritage through modern, narrative-driven fashion. By empowering consumers to “shop with purpose,” Hunhu Colectiv connects each purchase to social and environmental impact.
Four designers have been selected as part of the initial cohort – Ropafadzo Mupira of Soleil, Charmaine Nziradzemhuka of CharDesigns, Anesu Mandigaisa of Nae Extravaganza, and If Acted’s Buhle Moyo. The launch will be broadcast live on Nachipo’s Instagram and TikTok accounts, starting at 1800hrs. The event will feature a Live Makeup Tutorial whereby Natalie will demonstrate a glamorous look using signature beauty products from Emannis Elements, a homegrown makeup brand which will also feature on the platform.

There will also be a Get Ready With Natalie (GRWN) segment highlighting exclusive designer pieces available for purchase on the new e-commerce site. Expect Special Guests to join Natalie for some fun conversations, and maybe some giveaways.
