Hate it or love it, Hatiperi is on top!

In an industry accustomed to custom one-of-ones that come far and wide between, Hatiperi’s release schedule in Autumn/Winter ‘25 has been a pleasant departure from the norm.

The streetwear brand started off the year with a Summer tees collection that has kept the streets buzzing since release. It will likely do more damage as we approach Spring/Summer ‘25.

As winter comes to a close, Hatiperi has dropped a tracksuit collection called HatiperiWinter25; setting a new precedent for streetwear drops in Zim fashion. The new collection comes in four colourways; black, green, red and brown; giving fans room to play with mood and tone. The Hatiperi logo is stylized in four different ways for this collection, while reverse stitching adds some sleek detailing to the tracksuits. There are also two variations of the tracksuits—cuffed and flarred arms.

Speaking to Mcheno and More, Hatiperi head designer Tinotenda Matayi revealed that HatiperiWinter25 is inspired by everyday street culture, saying; “This collection is bold, expressive and unapologetically real. It reflects the energy of young people chasing purpose while staying true to their roots.”

The collection is a slight departure from the Summer tees collection, choosing minimalist overtones and focusing on fabric quality to enhance comfort. “These tracksuits are tailored for comfort and confidence. Once you wear it, you feel like it was made for you,” described Matayi.

He continued, “HatiperiWinter25 has a clean but commanding aesthetic. It’s versatile, functional and still very Hatiperi—effortlessly cool with substance behind the style.”

While this is Hatiperi’s second release of the year, the brand isn’t showing any signs of fatigue; promising its first drop of SS25 soon. As always, expect something new but in alignment with the brand’s DNA. “The team is working on a third drop that’s even more elevated. Something different, but still very Hatiperi. All I can say is stay tuned,” concluded the brand’s founder.

As streetwear fashion continues to rise across the country, Hatiperi is making sure it’s not just riding the wave but defining it. The market will respond better to more coherent, consistent releases than the start-stops that most brands started out with. It is our hope that aspiring and experienced designers alike take a leaf from the Hatiperi approach.
